OUR PROCESS
Four checks before a badge is ever issued
1. Identity & ownership check
Every business that applies for a listing submits its legal name, owner contact, and business details. We confirm the applicant genuinely represents the business before any listing enters the queue.
2. Category & compliance review
We check each listing against our directory’s category standards, industry norms, and content policy. Businesses that suggest a new category (via our custom category feature) are reviewed individually before approval.
3. Contact & website verification
Phone numbers, websites, and addresses are validated so customers can trust that a listing is reachable and current — not abandoned or fraudulent.
4. Verified badge issued
Once a listing clears every check, the business receives an embeddable ‘Verified on Mindset TrapR’us’ badge that links directly back to their live, public profile page.
WHAT THE BADGE MEANS
A badge only earned through verification.
- The business identity and contact information have been checked against our verification standards.
- The listing is active, current, and reachable — not a dormant or abandoned profile.
- The business has agreed to our directory policies, including accurate representation of its services.
- Customers can click through the badge on any external site straight to the verified profile on Mindset TrapR’us.
SECURITY & ACCOUNTABILITY
Trust doesn’t stop at approval.
Encrypted data handling
Business and customer data is transmitted and stored using industry-standard encryption practices.
Ongoing monitoring
Listings are periodically reviewed to keep contact details and category placement accurate over time.
Report a concern
If you believe a listing is inaccurate or fraudulent, contact our team and we will investigate and take action.
